The Upperroom Christian Faith Center History was given by the Holy Spirit to Pastor Butler, early in the morning. This was the beginning of what would be the birth of a dynamic church and school. The church has continued to grow in all facets of ministry. God is moving miraculously in the people’s lives and he’s opening up all media to spread the word to the lost and outcast of society; and anyone seeking to have a closer walk with Jesus. The vision that God has given Pastor Butler is nothing less than amazing, as He uses him and the Saints to reveal the manifestation of the power of his word. 2 Chronicles 20:20 declares, if we would believe God and his prophet we would be established and prosper in our lives.

Doctrinal Statement

* We believe the bible as God’s written Word and revelation of His truths in which he reveals Himself to us.

* We believe the Bible is written to guide us to a way of holiness as God is Holy

* We believe in the Old and New testaments in which we govern our church, the Upperroom Christian Faith Center, Inc., and Academy.

* We believe there is only one God which functions in three different capacities the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

* We believe He is Holy, powerful, perfect, all- knowing, all- seeing, full of love, and a just God.

* We believe God created man in his own image, and that man’s primary purpose is to praise and glorify God and enjoy Him through a life of holiness.

* We believe man has been given the ability to think creatively and to use his imagination to develop and grow in whatsoever he or she desires to do.

* We believe that Jesus is the only begotten son of God; The Christ, the anointed one who showed his supreme act of love for mankind. He became a man himself, yet thought it not robbery to be equal with God.
